The Count Down

25 days left....and the fact that I'm leaving still has not completely hit me. When I was driving to work yesterday trying to make out the lanes on the freeway through a foot of snow, I realized that in less than a month, I won't be doing this anymore! No more snow for me, no more wearing 8 layers of clothing so that I don't freeze on my way from the house to the car...instead it will be the other extreme. Humidity. When just the effort of blinking leaves you hot and sticky, and when you breathe, you choke on the air. Better than the snow? You decide...
At any rate, in just 25 days I will be in the Dominican Republic, and hopefully biting into the first really really good mango that I've had in a long time.
